Why choose a .STORE domain?

The noun and the verb are the same word, and one came from the other. To store is to keep, to put by. And a store, originally, is simply the place where things are kept — the storehouse. Selling came afterwards: first goods were accumulated, then people began selling them on the spot. That is what separates .store from .shop: one comes from stock, the other from exchange.
