Why choose a .PINK domain?

No colour has changed meaning so much in so little time. Until the early twentieth century, pink was taken in the West as a masculine colour — a diluted red, and so a man’s colour in a softer form. The pink-for-girls, blue-for-boys split is a recent convention, and it is still moving. That is what makes the word interesting: it carries a convention, not a nature. A brand can therefore use it to follow that convention, or to contradict it.
