Why choose a .FITNESS domain?

The word names the activity and everything around it: the studio, the classes, the coaching, the equipment, the trade. It is also a sector with a peculiarity worth facing squarely: memberships sell in January and are forgotten by March. A business model built on absence is not a solid one. The studios that last are the ones whose members actually turn up — and their sites talk about progress, not transformation.

The studio

Timetable, class sizes, changing rooms, parking, the first session. The question that stops a beginner: “will I look lost?”

The coach

Training, certification, typical clients, approach. A lightly regulated trade: showing your qualifications sets you apart immediately.

Membership

Term, commitment, cancellation, freezing, student rates. Cancellation terms are what people read first, and with good reason.

The timetable

Group classes, places left, cancellations, cover instructors. A current timetable is worth more than any photograph of equipment.

The community

Challenges, ability groups, training partners, shared results. What brings people back in March is other people, never the machines.

What it actually changes

• It names the activity, not the state. That is what separates it from .fit, which is shorter and speaks of the condition itself.
• The word is used as it stands in French. It circulates there untranslated, alongside “mise en forme”.
• No registration restrictions. No coaching certification to show the registrar — but display yours.
• It works as an email address too. timetable@harding.fitness states its purpose before anyone writes.
